R G Sulochana Rupasena's Story

Working with young learners has always required patience, care, and understanding, and my journey at Apax Campus helped me develop all three while pursuing my Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) in Primary Education. From the beginning, the program guided me to see primary teaching as both a responsibility and a privilege.

The Primary Education program was thoughtfully designed to focus on child development, early learning strategies, and age-appropriate teaching methods. Through engaging coursework, classroom observations, and practical teaching experiences, I learned how to create supportive, inclusive, and joyful learning environments for young children.

The lecturers and mentors at Apax Campus played a key role in shaping my growth as an educator. Their encouragement, practical guidance, and continuous feedback helped me understand the unique needs of primary learners and strengthened my ability to manage classrooms with confidence and care.

Beyond academic learning, Apax Campus helped me develop essential skills such as communication, creativity, classroom organization, and emotional intelligence. The nurturing campus culture and student-focused approach made me feel supported throughout my academic journey.

Thanks to Apax Campus, I have grown into a confident, caring, and committed primary educator. Today, I am well prepared to guide young learners, inspire curiosity, and lay a strong foundation for their educational journey.
